Spring Beauty Tips
Spring has sprung! I’m not sure about you, but that is definitely something to be excited about. The days are begining to get longer. The weather is getting warmer. Birds are chirping. Snow is melting. All is well in the world! Now is a good time to start re-evaluating your beauty regimen and deciding what you need to change, and what can remain the same. Here are 3 beauty tips to help you with your transition from winter into warmer weather.
Beauty Tip #1 – Exfoliate
This has to be the number one most important thing that you can do when the seasons change. Especially when it’s going from cold to warm weather. All that dead skin has got to go! If you’re not someone who exfoliates regularly, then this is the time to do it. From head to toe, you will want so slough off all that dead skin and reveal beautiful luminous skin ready to be kissed by the sun’s rays! If you have sensitive skin, be sure to use a gentle exfoliator. Baking soda works wonders and is extremely affordable.
Beauty Tip #2 – SPF
For some reason people like to ditch the SPF in the winter and then add it back into their regimen in the summer. If Sunscreen isn’t currently in your regimen, now would be a great time to add it. UV rays are known to do some damage to your skin, so don’t skimp on it. Protect your skin and keep it moisturized with a day cream that includes at least SPF 15. If you have hyper-pigmentation, sunscreen helps so that your dark spots don’t get darker from the rays of the sun.
Beauty Tip #3 – Hydrate
Water is an amazing beauty miracle. Drinking it does wonders for your hair and your skin. Try to follow the known tip to drink 8 glasses of water per day. It will help to detoxify your body, move nutrients to where it’s needed the most, and your body will thank you. Need help drinking more water? Fill a water bottle and keep it in plain sight as a reminder. And if that doesn’t help, set a reminder on your phone to go off every hour.
